I was reading Senator Ted Kennedy's Obituary in the New York Times this morning, and I noticed a reference to the "Chappaquiddick Incident." Curious, I went to Wikipedia to find out what this is. Turns out that it was a MAJOR scandal in 1969 when Senator Ted Kennedy was involved in a terrible accident that caused the death of a young female campaign worker. It reads like an episode of CSI or Cold Case... definitely some shady stuff went on. Especially when the medical examiner decided NOT to conduct an autopsy? Being a Kennedy in the 1960's age of Camelot sure meant you had a LOT of power, huh?
What do you think of the Chappaquiddick Incident? Should he have served jail time? Who's at fault? Was it just simply an accident? VERY interesting...
