Alternative/holistic know-it-alls...advice, please!

Just putting the word out there- can anyone recommend ways that I can treat my dry, scratchy eyes through diet or natural remedies? I have dry eyes (not from allergies) and they are constantly red, scratchy and irritated. I'm using a prescription drop called Patanol, as well as Systane over the counter drops, but I'm wondering if there's something I can be eating that helps eye health.

If you have any advice, let me know!

This sounds delicious! I found this recipe and I HAVE to try it! Mmmmmm let me know if any of my readers try this out!

Rice Krispie Ice Cream Dessert

Ingredients:

• 1/2 cup butter or margarine
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 4 cups Rice Krispies
• 1 cup coconut
• 1 cup chopped nuts
• 1/2 gallon vanilla ice cream

Directions:

Melt the butter and the sugar. Pour over the Rice Krispies, coconut, and the nuts. Press 2/3 of this mixture into a 9x13 inch pan. Freeze this until firm. Remove the box around the ice cream and slice into 1 1/2 inch slabs and spread over bottom. Cover with remaining mixture. Freeze.
