And here she is popping her buttons at 3 weeks! She is 8lb 5oz now, and growing all the time!

Our friend, Candice, made this beautiful toy chest as a gift for Sevryn. She hand-painted it to match her crib bedding! What a thoughtful and unique idea!

Here's a photo of me at 38 weeks... and then again in the same dress with little Sevryn, 9 days after her birth.  It's absolutely amazing what our bodies are capable of! 14 days after she was born, I was back down to my pre-pregnancy weight, and since I'm nursing, it keeps coming off! Greatest diet ever? haha

Sevryn came home with us from the hospital in an NYC yellow taxi cab. Car seats are not required in cabs- I held her in a baby sling and she couldn't have been more content!
