I'm bringing DISPOSABLE CAMERAS back... YEAH!

My friend Elizabeth decided that we need to go old-school and start using the disposable cardboard cameras for when we go out. It's actually SO much more fun, to not be able to see the pictures until you get them developed. Plus, it's still cheap, at only $2.99 to have the pics put on a CD. Another bonus? Getting strangers to take your picture, and watching them try to find the screen to look through on the back... until they realize the camera is made out of PAPER.

With cardboard cameras, you can't see how stupid you looked when the picture was taken...

And then there's when you accidentally hit the button as you're taking the camera out of your purse...

...But the best part is, it's impossible to FAKE your poses! Can't you tell we're having fun?

If Love is Blind...why is Victoria's Secret so successful?

Click on the link below to see how photoshop can manipulate an ugly picture into a Playboy cover photo- this is unbelieveable! It just goes to show, that the pictures you see in magazines are NOTHING like what the person really looks like! It's amazing what you can do with photoshop!

Ridiculous Japanese Invention

Did you stay out too late last night, and just didn't get enough sleep last night? Never fear! This useless invention allows you to take a quick snooze on the subway, without the fear of embarassment of falling over. Never mind the embarrassment of actually using this hideous instrument, I guess...

Poor Mr. Giraffe!

Prince is a puppy, and puppies LOVE to chew- thankfully, he keeps his chewing to his toys. At first, we used to buy pricey toys from the pet store, but not anymore... it's DOLLAR STORE, all the way! Look what he does to his babies!! He chews out their eyes first, maybe so they can't see the torture that's about to take place. Then he pulls off any apendages- ears and whiskers are usually next to go. After this, he savagely pulls all the stuffing out and throws it all over the floor.

Tribute to the Bicycle Delivery guys

A quick shout out to the hardworking, underpaid, most likely illegally working people who deliver for me 24 hours a day, rain or shine, or as in tonight's case... snow. That's right, if Carmine wants a pack of AA batteries, a roll of Glad Wrap, or a jar of sweet pickles at 3am, then all I have to do is call and it's at my door in 30 minutes or less! Gotta love New York!

...Wait a minute!!!!

Check out the news anchor on ABC 7 news! I think we've got our man!

Radhakant

This is Radhakant Bajpai, from India. He has the World RECORD for Longest Ear Hair. His ear hair measures 13.2cm in length. I don't know why I think this picture is SO funny... I think it's his expression. I should put this picture on E-harmony.com and see if I get any matches! The Q-TIP company should sponsor this guy! Question: if you have 13 cm ear hair, do you shampoo and condition it everyday?

I can't believe she's HERE!

Welcome Baby Ava Grace Boardman! Ava's already done some travelling, and here's some pictures where she visited Philadelphia while she was still snuggly in her momma's belly. Visit Danny and Kristi's website at www.dannyandkristi.blogspot.com to see just how beautiful this baby girl is!

Forget the South Beach Diet...Check out the New York City Diet!

So I've come to believe that New Yorkers can't be fat because they can't AFFORD to be fat! First of all, I'm walking EVERYWHERE, and secondly, check out my grocery bill for this week:

1 small carton of milk 1 small bag of dry dog food

4 sticks of margerine 1 box dog biscuits

1 loaf of white bread 1 pkg Halls coughdrops

3 apples 2L Diet Mt. Dew

Total: $18.65!!!

That's the New York Diet! Looking at my list, it would appear that the dogs are eating better than we are. No wonder the kitchens in NY apartments are so tiny- it's more expensive to buy groceries than to eat out! I guess it's a good thing that we have a tiny little mini-bar sized fridge in our apt- at least it looks full in comparison!

New York City- A Magical City that turns everything EXPENSIVE!

What better way to relax after moving boxes all day, than with an ice-cold can of Diet Coke? "Good idea, Carmine," I thought to myself. I walked to the corner market at the end of our block, and picked up a 6-pack of what I now consider, "liquid gold." Take a stab at how much a 6 pack of Diet Coke cost me in New York City? $5.50!!!! I could almost buy a gallon of GAS for that amount!
